Hi, I’m Arash—a husband, father, and portrait photographer based in Ottawa.

My interest in photography began more than twenty years ago, simply by documenting the lives of family and friends. I never really stopped. What began as a way of preserving the people and moments around me gradually became a deeper fascination with photography and, eventually, the pursuit of it as a creative discipline.

Over the years, I found myself increasingly drawn to portraiture. My fascination with the beauty and individuality of the human form led me to specialize in portraits and to explore how light, expression, composition, and character can come together in a single image.

At the heart of my work is a simple purpose: to capture the best of each person I photograph. I strive to create portraits that are refined and authentic—images that reveal confidence, character, and individuality while presenting each subject at their very best.
